Slipsill

The Slipsill is a both good looking and well performing scissors and knife sharpener, made by Dianova whose Swedish-made diamond sharpeners are world class.

Its attractive design has the distinct advantage over many other knife sharpeners in that you can leave it out on the kitchen bench or hanging above the sink so that it is convenient when the need arises.  The material is oil-treated birch wood for durability and resilience against dirt. 

Slipsill in Swedish could translate as the "sharpening herring". Made in northern Sweden.
