Discover the perfect blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern outdoor performance with the Lars Fält Bushcraft Knife. Co-designed with world-renowned Swedish survival expert Lars Fält, this premium knife is built to meet the demands of serious outdoorsmen, bushcrafters, and preppers.

Crafted for rugged use in the wild, the Lars Fält knife excels in tasks like batoning, wood carving, fire preparation, shelter building and general outdoor use. Whether you're off-grid, on a wilderness expedition, or refining your camping skills in your local woods, this knife offers unmatched reliability and performance.

KEY FEATURES

    • Built to Last The strong, full-tang construction ensures unwavering reliability in the great outdoors. Even if your knife handle breaks, a full-tang knife can still be easily used. The stable Zero Scandi grind is perfect for survival and bushcraft tasks such as woodcarving or splitting wood, or batoning wood, for the campfire.
    • Superior Blade Performance Made from rugged Sleipner carbon steel, the blade holds an edge and is easy to sharpen and strop in the field. Casström knife blades are all cryogenically-quenched using nitrogen gas, which enhances wear-resistance and helps fulfill the true potential of the steel.
    • Ergonomic Handle Design In addition to the warm aesthetic of Scandinavian curly birch, the hand-finished wood handle also offers a secure and comfortable grip, even during prolonged use.
    • Ready for the Field Supplied with a vegetable-tanned European leather sheath, the knife is ready to attach to your belt and head off out!
    • Guaranteed Quality Backed by our usual 25-year warranty and made entirely in Europe, the Lars Fält Knife is a testament to superior craftmanship.
    • Firesteel Option: For those who need the ultimate survival knife, this model includes our fantastic 12,000+ strike Auermetall Fire Steel (with matching handle of curly birch), and a leather sheath with integral fire steel loop. Firelighting has never been this easy!

A Zero Scandi grind knife can benefit from a secondary micro bevel to increase its durability. A 20–25-degree angle per side (40-50 degrees in total) is recommended if the knife will be used for a lot of batoning or other heavy-duty tasks, particularly at temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius.

    Don't worry - it’s simple to do!

Find the usual sharpening angle and increase it by a couple of degrees.
Using a stone or diamond sharpener, make 4-5 strokes on each side. Apply light and consistent pressure as you move the blade across the sharpener.
You only need to do this for the straight section you will chop with.
Remember to maintain the same angle throughout the process.
Remove any burrs by lightly running the knife edge along a strop or piece of leather.
