Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us. The agreement is governed by English law.

We will deliver the goods ordered by you to the address you give us for delivery at the time you make your order, this cannot be changed at a later date. We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered; we do not deliver to your area or country; or one or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers. If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by email and will re-credit your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible. We will not be obliged to offer an additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

If an order is placed for a restricted item (knives and other edged tools) we will need to validate name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the ordering process against appropriate third party databases. By accepting these terms and conditions you consent to such checks being made. In performing these checks personal information provided by you may be disclosed to a registered Credit Reference Agency which may keep a record of that information. You can rest assured that this is done only to confirm your identity and age, that a credit check is not performed and that your credit rating will be unaffected. All information provided by you will be treated securely and strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. If we require further details to validate your date of birth we will send an e-mail requesting a copy of your ID. By placing an order you agree to provide additional information should we require it. Payment is taken at the time of checkout, however if you decide not to provide extra information after accepting these terms your card will be refunded minus any fees to cover age verification checks made. Any non-age restricted goods will still be sent and a credit for the age restricted items will be made to your card.
Events beyond our control
We shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by an event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, postal strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or natural emergencies, pandemics, war, or other such disasters.

We will need to validate name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the order process against appropriate third party databases. By accepting these terms and conditions you consent to such checks being made as earlier in these terms. Please also note that all sharp objects must be used responsibly and should never be used as weapons. It is your responsibility to find out what the law says about the use of knives and to follow it.
