I have one with a oak handle, it feels good in the hand and makes for good indexing, it is razor sharp out the box. It is a perfect knife for camping and bushcraft, not too big and not too small. Well worth a look.

So I was pondering for what seemed like forever , do I get a Casstrom woodsman or not? Long story short, I did. I opted for the bog oak version with a fire steel.
Absolutely, superb. It's so well balanced , razor (literally razor) sharp , the fire steel and the sheath are also superb. Only really just starting on my bushcraft adventure , I could have bought a mouira knife but figured 'if you're going to do it, do it right'. I have, I did and I'm so glad.
