The Casström No.3 Dangler is an innovative accessory designed to improve how you carry your knife sheath. By allowing your knife to hang lower from the waist, the Dangler ensures that it moves naturally with your body, making activities like running, climbing, and sitting much more comfortable.
This simple yet effective accessory not only increases your mobility but also provides a practical solution for complying with knife-carrying laws. When entering built-up areas or nearby camp shops, for example, easily detach your knife sheath and stow it in your pack, then reattach it to the dangler when you are back in the wilds!
Note the D-ring should not be used for climbing since a fall can create forces that exceed 400kg even if the person is not heavy.

This is a very well made item, with thick leather, rivets which look to be brass, and a chunky carabiner. I can confirm that the belt loop of the standard size Dangler will accommodate a 2 inch wide belt. When removing the sheath and knife to stow away, it seems that the carabiner should remain with the sheath, as the gate is hinged at the bottom.

A well made practical device. Already used it in the forest when practising archery. Does just what it's built for.

I already have one of these danglers for my RM bushcraft knife, but I wanted to modify the leather sheath for my Fallkniven A1 Pro to make it quick release. I removed the old belt attachment and rivet, fitted the dangler attachment and replaced the sheath rivet with a Chicago screw. It makes the whole thing much more user friendly, I don’t know why Fallkniven don’t fit these as standard.
