Coupled with the robust full-tang construction, the large blade of the No.14 SFK has the length to handle bigger tasks and will satisfy all your bushcraft, survival, or hunting needs - this is a knife that excels at splitting wood but also carves well. The A8 Mod steel has been selected for its toughness and if you add a small secondary bevel to the front of the blade you can even chop with this knife with a lower risk of severe edge damage.
Bought to replace my old workhorse. Very impressed so far, a brilliantly versatile and Hardy knife, holds an edge well and can handle heavy duty tasks like battening but equally suited to fine work. Together with the ferro rod, they've made easy work of firelighting
This was bought for a family member primarily for gralloching. I did so for 3 reasons. The updated stainless steel (do your research), the ornamental value, and the life time warranty. This is a good looking knife, however I can tell you nothing about gralloching.
A very good blade, a beautiful sheath and hilt. I bought this as part of a Finnish ww2 uniform and it is perfect. Would recommend to anyone who likes cooking or camping.
This is a very nice package. Great value for money.
